Engineering
the Deep.

Exploring the power of deep-ocean flows to advance marine technology and research pathways for long-term carbon removal.

Our mission

The ocean is a frontier
for climate innovation.

AquaByss is an early-stage ocean technology initiative investigating how underwater hydrodynamics and naturally occurring currents could support new approaches to marine energy systems and carbon removal research.

01 / OCEAN

Deep-ocean systems

Engineering concepts designed around underwater flow, depth and challenging marine environments.

02 / ENERGY

Flow-powered design

Exploring hydrofoil and current-driven mechanisms to reduce dependence on external power.

03 / CLIMATE

Carbon removal research

Studying whether controlled ocean processes can support measurable, durable climate benefits.

Technology concept

Designed to work with ocean currents.

Our concept investigates submerged wingsail and hydrofoil architectures that interact with ambient flows. We are developing simulations and prototype plans to assess mechanical feasibility and potential environmental effects.

This technology is in the research and prototype stage. Carbon removal performance and environmental outcomes have not yet been validated.
